It was designed by the famous architect Carlos Raúl Villanueva and was completed in 1943. FROM 1860 THE TEXTILE INDUSTRY DEVELOPED SUCCESSFULLY WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE ENERGY PROVIDED BY THE LLOBREGAT RIVER, UNTIL THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION CRISIS BROUGHT THE CESSATION OF ITS ACTIVITY. IN 1992 THE ABANDONED FACTORY WAS OCCUPIED AND TRANSFORMED INTO AN ARTISTIC RESIDENCE, A ROUGH YET POETIC AND PLEASANT SPACE, A NOSTALGIA OF INHABITING, THE MOUNTAINS SMELL AND WATER SOUND THAT NOURISHED ITS MACHINES.
